Local firemen formed the Atlanta Inferno Lacrosse Club in 2007. Since then, the team has grown to include a broad variety of professionals from across the Atlanta region. Meanwhile, the number of games we play in annually has grown, from just a few in our first year to about 24 in 2009. The goal of the club is to provide athletic competition for its members, raise charitable funds for various organizations and honor the game of lacrosse. The club formally incorporated in Georgia in 2009.
